Frequently Asked Questions

What is Winnie?

Winnie is a personal savings planner for iOS. Set your financial goals, and Winnie will show you exactly how and when you'll achieve them — with smart projections based on real-world data.

Does Winnie connect to my bank account?

No. Winnie never asks for your bank credentials or connects to any financial institution. You manually enter your savings amounts, keeping you in full control of your data.

How are projections calculated?

Winnie uses historically-based assumptions: 7% average stock market returns, 3.5% high-yield savings account rate, and 3% inflation. These are based on long-term historical averages and are for planning purposes only.

What's included in the free version?

The free version lets you track one savings goal — log your contributions and watch your progress grow. Savings plans, projected completion dates, charts, partner sync, and more goal colors are part of Winnie+.

What does Winnie+ include?

Winnie+ unlocks unlimited goals, savings plans with projected completion dates, partner sync, charts & insights, custom goal colors (20+), and exclusive Winnie+ app icons.

How does partner sync work?

Share a simple invite code with your savings partner. Once connected, both of you see the same goals, projections, and plan — in real time. Either partner can disconnect at any time.

Is Winnie a subscription?

No — and that's the point. Winnie+ is a one-time purchase: pay once and it's yours for good. We don't think you should pay every month just to save money — that defeats the whole purpose. The free version tracks one goal; Winnie+ unlocks everything else, for a single payment.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data from within the App's settings. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
